Cycle and series planning
Instead of planning every week anew, you define a cycle: for example six menu plans rotating every six weeks. Included from Professional.
Setting up a cycle
-
Open the menu plan group in the settings.
-
Set the cycle length in weeks (1 to 12). Empty means no repetition.
-
Choose the anchor date — the start of cycle week 1.
The anchor date may fall on any weekday. A cycle starting on a Wednesday is explicitly supported.
Reading the cycle calendar
Speiseplan → Zyklen shows all groups as a timeline. Each bar is a service period, the colour indicates the status (draft, planned, released, published). The selector at the top switches the range to 4, 10 or 26 weeks. Clicking a bar opens the planner.
Rolling out a series
The Serie ausrollen button creates the group’s coming weeks as drafts, pre-filled from the respective cycle week.
| Existing weeks are left untouched. Rolling out never overwrites anything you have already planned. |
Applying a week to future cycles
If you changed a cycle week and want the change carried into all future repetitions, use Woche in künftige Zyklen übernehmen in the planner.
Only weeks in status draft or planned are updated. Weeks already released or published stay unchanged — what facilities and parents have already seen does not change unnoticed.
